Biography
I have been interested in photography since the age of 12, when I was given my very first camera - an instamatic! After that first introduction, I read everything I could get my hands on, upgraded my cameras continuously, worked in the industry as a lab technician and camera sales person from the age of 18 for 8 years, bought my first darkroom, did several courses, and my interest in photography kept escalating from there. Once I was entrusted in photographing my first wedding for a couple at the tender age of 18, and getting pleasing results, I focused my attention in Wedding and Portrait Photography.
I have primarily been attracted in photographing people and animals, as I enjoy interacting and capturing special moments, expressions, actions etc. I have concentrated on Wedding Photography for the past 20 years, and love building relationships with my clients and getting the best photography from their very special day.
I have done commercial photography ranging from photographing furniture, to leather goods, plus modelling portfolios, reunions, commercial functions to business cards and CV portraits.
I volunteered my services to Camp Quality for 6 years, as their Camp Photographer and also worked on the layout of the magazine before it was published for all the children, their companions, plus sponsors. I thoroughly loved my time spent at camp, photographing the children enjoying the activities, entertainment etc, and hope one day to return, after taking a few years leave of absence due to other commitments. I recently volunteered my photography services to photograph the 2009 Supper Club fundraising event for Ronald McDonald House which was a huge honor, and a wonderful experience. I look forward to helping them out in future events.
I pride myself in being able to tailor-make a package to suit both the client's budget and requirements.
My catch phrase - Creative, Affordable, Fun with a 'Can Do' Attitude!
